Essential Question:
How does wonder lead to discovery?

VA:Cr2.2.5a: Demonstrate quality craftsmanship through care for and use of material, tools, and equipment

VA. 5.O.3.1:   Create meaningful and unique works of art to effectively communicate and document a personal voice.

SC.5.E.5.2: Recognize the major common characteristics of all planets and compare/contrast the properties of inner and outer planets.

 

LAFS.5.SL.2.5:  Include multimedia components (e.g., graphics, sound) and visual displays in presentations when appropriate to enhance the development of main ideas or themes.

 

BIG IDEA 5: Earth in Space & Time

Humans continue to explore Earth's place in space. Gravity and energy influence the formation of galaxies, including our own Milky Way Galaxy, stars, the Solar System, and Earth. Humankind's need to explore continues to lead to the development of knowledge and understanding of our Solar System.
