Moonshot Institute Professional Development
Moonshot Institute Professional Development consists of a variety of programs dedicated to supporting educators specifically, but not limited to Indian River County, Florida. Our professional development includes our Moonshot Institute Weekend Workshop Series, Week-long Summer Institute, UP Unit Planning Campaign presented together with the School District of Indian River County, On Campus, embedded support which includes shoulder to shoulder coaching and customized programs.

Moonshot Institute Weekend Workshops are hands on opportunities for educators to learn innovative, dynamic ways to inspire and reach all their students. Centered around a theme or big idea, these workshops offer highly engaging strategies, explore ways to create meaningful experiences with text, and support teachers as they bring these new tools back to their classrooms.
Moonshot Summer Institute
This annual week-long intensive teacher training institute provided by The Learning Alliance is designed to provide an immersive, meaningful, hands on professional development experience. Participants walk away with strategies to support the higher academic demands required of their students.
The UP Unit Planning Campaign is co-created in partnership with the professional development team of the School District of Indian River County (SDIRC), to support local educators. With approximately 130, K-5 and secondary teachers participating, the UP Campaign brings educators together across schools to collaborate, plan and learn from leading experts and each other.
